Hello Sharon, Oliver and Jan,
Just wanted to know how you got together to create this wonderful site. You all live so far away from each other - Australia, France, Canada. So how did it come that you started to create and administer this site? Did you know each other before or did you meet only 'virtually' in the Internet?
Thanks once more for your great job. I have been to many sites/forums and must admit this is best organized/designed and friendly

I am 8 hours ahead from Jan and 8 hours behind Sharon, so we can monitor the forums all the time. That's the only reason why we got together. Just kidding
We only met virtually in the internet. I do not remember exactly when I met Sharon! It was probably in 1998. Sharon helped me to moderate the board a long time ago when it was hosted on Insidetheweb.com. She also administrates the mailing lists. I met Jan in August this year from the board

I think it was 1997 when Olly and I met Olly does know a fair bit about Boxers and everthing about Boxer related mailing lists and websites and message boards and all the technical things. We both met Jan through this board and talked her into becoming a moderator She probably hates us both now LOLOL.

Thanks for replies. When I re-registered this summer it seemed to me that when I joined the board for the first time in March this year Jan was a member, not a moderator, but I thought I might be mistaking. And there was another moderator before? So guys, what have you done to him/her? Made him work to death?

There are three other moderators :
1) Matthew who isn't often online, he is more in the chatroom or on ICQ
2) Liz Philipps who moderates the rescue forum, but mainly the boxerworld rescue list.
3) Bree who moderates the BARF forum and mainly the barfing boxers list.
