The "Thanks" Button

I use the "Thanks" button for a few reasons:

1. The intended purpose of thanking the poster for useful information.
2. Agreeing to what the poster has said.
3. To commend the poster for what they have written.
4. The reason I most often use this button - To absolutely agree to what was said, in total agreeance, completely and utterly emphasise that what was posted should be adheared to or taken with complete trust and honesty.

Why do you use the "Thanks Button"?

A lot of the time I use it if it was a truly useful post - info that I didn't know before, or something explained well.
Sometimes I just use it when someone has already said exactly what I was going to say, but there's really no reason for me to repeat it. So then I feel like the "thanks" lets other people know that, yep, this is good info here, even if there are no other posts directly saying that it is.

If the reply is to something that I personally have shared I also use it to thank someone for their good wishes or expression of sympathy. For instance, prayers of concern or healing vibes.

I "thanked" all posts in this thread. I agree with all that had been said.

Sometimes I wish there was a "like" button just like on a certain social media site (just as there should be a dislike button). Sometimes people get things right on the head. Other times I am very disappointed by what people have said...
