I just read a news article that said that a dog walker in the dc area back in July of this year found these cheese peices with the nails. But no other reports have surfaced about any other problems at other dog parks. They said though it was initially true it is now a hoax sent out by someone on a social media site.

However it is definetly a wake up call to everyone who owns a dog that this can happen anywere not just at the dog park and because of such we should be very very diligent with what our pups try to eat while outside our homes.

Whether it is fake or not I'm sure in the past somebody has thrown poisonous food or something like that in a dog park ...there are just so many sickos out there. But just seeing that pic a cold shiver ran down my spine. Always must be on alert when taking your dog out.
