Even better than the weight loss is your attitude and positivity. Your latest posts have just beamed pride and increasing self confidence. Congrats on losing more and getting more exercise with your boxers.
On another note-
You just graduated as an RN right? The job market is tough, but if you look to non-hospital jobs...there are a few more available. Even if you don't think you qualify based on years of experience "required" I'd apply anyway (within reason, I'd try for one that said 1-2 yrs, but not 5-10.) I graduated a few years before the job crunch for nurses, but keep looking and apply everywhere! Look outside the usual hospital jobs and you may find more opportunities.
I've gotten 3 jobs that I was underqualified for. The first one wanted 1 year of acute care experience- I was a new grad and got the job. Second job wanted 3-5 years of acute care, preferably with pediatrics....I got the job. Current job...definitely did not meet the requirements. They wanted 5-10 years of clinical experience, and supervision experience. I didn't have any of those things (In my defense, the job posting was very vague about the requirements). All 3 jobs I got based on my interviewing skills, well written resume, and offering to do a 3 month probationary period (with full pay).
Keep up the good work with the weight loss. And I'm sure you'll find a nursing job soon.

So proud of you.... . It is great to think about your weightloss compared to Gus. Just keep that in mind as you see all the yummy things this Christmas. And don't feel bad if you eat a little something sweet, just jump right back on the wagon and keep on doing what you are doing. I'm sure your pups are really enjoying the new mom and I can tell that you are very much enjoying the new Sarah. You are awesome girl WoooHooo

Sarah, you look great and as "Johann" said I too feel in your posts your newly found positive outlook.
Yes, all the holiday sweets are great. Taste a little and walk a little more the next day. I take a Zumba class once a week and really put my all into it so I can have an extra christmas cookie or two
Great Job- Happy Holidays

Sarah you are doing so awesome. Congratulations on your accomplishments. I know you are feeling great and your pups are loving every minute of it too.
Something that worked for me during my weight loss is I would tell myself I can have whatever I want but I don't want such and such its not benificial to my health (that way I never felt deprived because I was making the good choice for me). And if the cravings got too much I would give myself permission to have 1 bite of 1 thing and then I would just sit and savor the taste for as long as I could. That stopped the craving and I found I actually enjoyed the treat more then eating the whole thing .
Keep up the good work I know it will be all worth it in the end. And your new found positive attitude and confidence will help you get through anything that life throws at you.

10 weeks post-op
Today is 10 weeks since surgery. Gosh, does time fly!!! I lost another 5 pounds this week, for a total of 63 pounds lost since surgery!!! And a total of 76 pounds from my highest weight pre-op!!!! I am so glad it is still coming off at a pretty steady rate. My goal this week is to start exercising!!! I haven't been very good at that. I need to, at the very least, walk everyday. I need to build up some muscle mass. I don't feel weak, but I am pretty off balance, LOL. I only have 26 more pounds to lose until I am half way to my goal weight!!!!! I have 204 pounds total to lose, so getting to my half way point this soon is pretty awesome!
I started at a size 30/32 and sometimes size 4X would be too small Now I am in a 3X top and 24 jeans It feels pretty awesome when clothes get too big on me. Luckily I have clothes in lots of sizes, but Santa still might need to bring me some Maybe some size 22 since I will probably be in those soon I also had to buy some new undies because my old ones were so baggy
Thank you SO much to everyone who has posted and supported me and followed my journey. It's awesome to have people here to share my good news with! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!

Good job! Definitely start walking. The dogs will love it and it will make you feel great too. I think walking is great because it’s nice to walk & breathe fresh air but it’s not so strenuous that you dread doing it.

Congrats again! You are doing fabulous. Beyond fabulous actually.
Start small with the walks and work your way up. Like go for 1 trip around the block the first few days, then add another block for a week, etc. Maybe only bring 1 dog at a time at first until you feel more balanced. Any chance of an appointment with a physical therapist/athletic trainer/personal trainer to give you some ideas on exercise to build muscle and balance?

Great job . I just love how positive and happy you sound, that is truly the best outcome of all. I think now is the perfect time to start excercising, you will get such a boost of energy from it....and of course Gus and Izzy will love it. Keep it up, I have so enjoyed being on this journey with you, it is exciting and I am so proud of you and your success.
