I'm so freakin mad you can not even believe it....

I was at my sisters Saturday just sitting on the porch relaxing. Two doors down I hear this guy saying stay over and over again. So of course this catches my attention. I look over and see this guy telling a puppy to stay. This is a 6 month old black lab puppy. This puppy is never leashed, so I'm like oh he is trying to train it. So I keep watching. The guys gets real serious and says stay and points at the dog as he says it. He then turns and walks away. So of course the puppy followed. And that's when it happened!

The guy walked back up to the puppy, grabbed it by its collar, and started punching it in the face and head! I know you all can understand the fury that immediately took over! I jumped to my feet and screamed at the top of my lungs at this guy. I can't repeat what I said, but I was snarling as I said it and spit flew all over my face and anyone outside could definitey hear me! I looked like a psycho and I scared my niece half to death! Then this stupid woman who actually lives there and owns this puppy comes out the door and has the freaking nerve to say to me, he is not abusive! More choice words, snarling and spit came out of my mouth.

The dude just walked away, never said a word. The woman spent 10 minutes trying to get her puppy to come out from under the chair it was hiding under. And I know it was 10 minutes cause that's how long I was on the phone for one part of this wonderful conversation....

So I called the dog pound, it gave me a recording that provided the number to call for abuse cases. So I call and it is the humane society, and the chick says they can't help and that I have to call the police. So I call the police, and they say I have to call the humane society. And I'm like I just talked to them and they said call you. They say, the humane society handles animal abuse. So I call the humane society again, she says ok Ill get the humane officer. He says they can do nothing unless they witness the abuse. He says call the police because this is a civil matter. So I call the police. They refuse to respond. WTF? There are 3 witnesses to this, and the guy would be very easy to pick out thanks to his obviously deformed hands. I could see it from 2 houses down.

So besides me and my sister, the other witness was my 9 year old son! Oh yes, how wonderful for him. So here I am telling my crying child don't worry I called the police, knowing full well they were not coming! Like it wasn't bad enough for me to see that, then I find out my son saw it and no one is coming to punish the bad guy.

Next time I witness something like that, I'm calling 911. And if the police don't respond, I'm calling the news team. Cause they love it when the police don't respond. I'm so disgusted!

Oh my gosh! Unbelievable! I just caught myself with my mouth wide open! I cannot believe the nerve! The guy didn't say anything? Just walked away? And the lady thought that punching a dog in the face wasn't abusive? I'd be calling my local newspaper or writing a letter about not getting any action from either the police or HS. I cannot imagine the shock your poor son went through when he saw that. That is just pathetic! I could go on and on, un friggin believable!!!!

If it is a civil case, then you can absolutely place him under citizen's arrest and hold him from leaving. Meanwhile a 911 call is placed and you would tell them "I am placing a man under citizen's arrest for animal abuse". They MUST respond!!!! If they do not, then a call to the township/city office to community services dept to report a non-response for citizen's arrest by the police dept.

Bet if you would have bashed in his head, the police would be there in a heartbeat ~ even without any witnesses! Too many people out there in control who still think animals are property, not living, breathing, feeling pain creatures.
