Agree with you on this guy. I was shocked when he could actually sing! He was pretty good, but maybe tried a bit too hard with the personality thing? We'll see how far he goes. I can't wait until next week!!!!

She was really good! And she kinds of reminded me of Queen Latifah a little bit!

Exactly! I did not expect that voice to come out of his mouth! But I think his 'tude is going to send him home really quick!
Can't wait for this week!

Okay Idol fans! What are you're predictions based on tonight????
My two faves..... the first two of the whole night.
The very first blonde girl who sang and played on the key-board was amazing!!!!And the second guy (right after) whose name was Dave (Dark Hair) was amazing! But the funny thing was.... after the two brief appearances (where they both immediately made it through to the next round) They weren't seen again! I found it strange as the judges (as well as myself) were very impressed!
Any predictions?????

I was impressed tonight. You're right, Dave Hernandez was phenomenal. So was the girl that sounded like Janis Joplin. And the Irish girl was amazing. There was so much talent and I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow night when they're down to 24!!

That's what I'm wondering?!? Did you notice that some people who weren't that great were picked while others who were far better were let go (the girl who lost her father and has a mentally handicapped daughter, she was good)?
A little bit off...but did you catch that new show by Randy Jackson, 'America's best dance crew' (I think that was it). It was on Sunday night at 7pm and was amazing!!

Dang it! I missed the first 30 minutes of it. I can't believe they passed the politician kid with the glasses. He is good, but not American Idol good. He is stage/theatre good. They let some really good ones go, the others better step it up. I LOVED the guy who sang Bohemian Rapsody. If you can sing a "Queen" song, you can sing almost anything. I bet he goes a long way. He is one of my top picks.

I agree!!!!!!!! So exciting! There's some amazing talent coming through this year. But...did anyone else find that there are people who made it through to the top 24 that we haven't even seen yet???!!!!!!!! What's that about??!!! DH kept asking me, "who is that?" Talk about giving some of the contestants an unfair advantage!!!!
And to give a real tear-jerker by sending Josiah home! I don't think he was ready for the competition... but even Ryan Seacrest seemed to have been holding back the tears. His voice was cracking. I just feel bad that he's back to living in his car!

Dave Hernandez is still one of my top picks (sort of reminds me of the last Canadian Idol winner, Brian Melo). It was sad to see Josiah go...I think he got nervous and that's why he didn't do so well the other night.

I am very upset over Josiah being sent home (or to his car) I do admit he was crumbling during Hollywood week but he was awesome and I think he would have gone farther than some of the people picked to go on. I hope he makes it far in life.
