So now I'm back from outerspace.

WELL... The move did not go smooth!! I have had to live at my mum's for the past 7wks - I love her to bits, but one more week & I swear I would have been up on a murder charge. She talks to me like I'm 10yrs old, & made a point of teaching me things that people do when they have to live away from mum & dad!! I only moved in for 7wks! I have lived without them for years - why has this not been noticed by the folks?? I stepped into a time warp when I walked through their door. They still do everything the same - even Johnny Cash is still played on sunday morning while the roast slowly cooks to a cinder. I loved not having to cook my own sunday roast. Well, I made it through the rain & kept myself protected, which is more than can be said for my dad's beloved garden. Once there was a nice green rectangular lawn, & then came Rogue!!! So now my dad has what can only be described as patchy mud (& the tear falls slowly from his eye) . Rogue however doesn't seem to care about the colour of grass - it was a good place to burn (nuf said) . On another note, Rogue has no more hives, no more sores, no more spots - something about Mum's house maybe! Let me brief you on my new joint - It had: No electric upstairs, gas meter was broken, no gas connector for cooker, chips in bath, taps on wrong way round, holes in roofing, doors that didn't fit, plumbing on kitchen sink, outside pipe, toilet, also, cracks in walls, damp walls that fell apart in kitchen, a bedroom ceiling that I waited 2mths to be re-plastered (main reason for not being able to move in), then there was no ceiling roses with loose wires hanging everywhere, dodgy floorboards, broken windows, & windows with trapped condensation in them, the garden is a jungle with broken fences, & my front door looks as though Dr Who brought it back from 1972! But apparently according to the Housing it was fit to live in!!! Hmm! I have just moved in last Saturday, & my computer is now up & running. Me & Rogue are back, & we missed you. x

Welcome back Karen, we've missed you!..I was wondering where you had got to, I knew you said you were moving, and would be gone awhile, but I was beginning to think you must have emigrated ...

Sounds like you've got tons to do in your new drum, but I'm sure you'll sort it all out soon....Oh, and by the way, my mum and dad still play old Deano, (Dean Martin) as the roast and spuds are doing on a Sunday...It's the law!...And up until he lost his sight, my Pa used to wear a pair of knickers on his bonce as he peeled the spuds, and sung along to Deano..I dunno why, but nobody used to bat an eyelid ...He can't see to do the tata's now, but he still has 'Little ol wine drinker me,' going on!
