Honda Pilot
My husband and I are looking into buying a Honda Pilot and I'm just wondering if any of you have any experiences with the Pilot or Honda for that matter. Neither one of us has owned a Honda before. Opinions are appreciated! Thanks

My in-laws have a 2007 pilot. Its really nice & they love it. My husband & I both drive Honda's. They are very reliable & even the suv’s have decent gas mileage.

I had a honda civic and a honda CRV and they were both fantastic vehicles and they hold their value well. I think a Pilot would be great..

It will cost you, but it is a auto that will last for a long time. The key is doing the proper maintenance and it will be a good one.
Yes, I have 30 yrs experience working on auto's for a living.

My sister has a Piolet for 3 years and still LOVES it. She had a Honda Prelude before that which she put 200,000 miles on it.

We have had several Honda's in our family and they have all been great. Never a Pilot though. I sold an accord with 157,000 miles on it to my friend's brother. I went through a car and a half before he finally had to junk it. He barely maintained it either - although I wouldn't recommend that! Good luck!

I have a Honda Pilot and love it! It is just the right size for carring kids and dogs around. It does use gas but not as much as most SUV's. I would buy my pilot again,

My first brand new car was a Honda Civic. Loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it! Honda's are great on the resale value. Maintaince is definately the key! Had it for 5 years and then bought a new pick up. A Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 quad cab. Definately a difference in the gas milage! Hubby and I agree if we ever buy a another car it will be a Honda. Btw I only lost $2000 in depreciation when we bought the Chevy and drove it for 5 years without a single problem.

Thank you so much for all the replies, they have helped us confirm our decision! We have an appointment with a salesman at the dealership tonight to start the whole buying process! We are super excited, so hopefully everything works out!

Yay, buying new cars is fun! (sorry, just had to throw that in there, just got a new car my self )
Anywayses, I have a friend of mine who swears by Honda-they have the accord and the civic. They're great cars and hold up really well.
Good luck and have fun!
