That is awesome!! I love WW - I lost 36 pounds in 6 months doing that from October last year until April of this year. I am just maintaining now as I leveled off and didn't lose anymore for 2 months so decided to take a break and stay put for the time being. It was very easy for me and I feel so much better.

Way to go - keep at it - the payoff is great!!

Congratulations!!! I joined WW Sunday so I am just beginning. I must say it has been a little tough. I just need to learn to control my portions. I LOVE to eat. Hopefully, I'll be able to tell you guys I've dropped the 50lbs. I need to within the next year!

The first couple of weeks were a little difficult for me. You have to get yourself accustomed to eating different and break bad habits..but after that it will seem like no big deal. Good Luck!

Sarah - i know what you mean about summer and going out with the kids - hard to find healthy choices. With it being so hot I haven't had any trouble maintaining - I'm wondering what will happen though when winter gets here....it will probably take a little more effort.

Beausmommy - I do the core programme so do not really worry about portion sizes. I am a vegetarian so it suited me more and I am training for a half marathon next year. I haven't booked one yet but it was my aim to do a half before the end of 2008!!! Good luck with your weight loss commitment.

Diane - I agree about the hot weather, I have been living on BBQ fish, corn & rice!!

Do you guys know how accurate the WW scales are??? I weighed at one location when I joined last Sunday. I go to meetings at a different location. I weighed there today and it said I'd lost 8.8lbs. Even though I ate very well last week I'm pretty sure that isn't right but I was wondering if anyone knew how often they checked to make sure the scales are correct...
