Thumbs down Oh No! Hayfever Time!

Yep! It's that time of the year again. And anyone who suffers will know what a downer it brings to the long awaited summer.

I feel like mine's starting today. Time to reach for those meds.

I know..I've been fighting hayfever/nasal allergies for the last two weeks straight. I am sick of it!!! I take my meds and it helps some but every morning it's like several hours just getting cleared out to breath and not be blowing my nose solid. grrr...lol

I get terrible hayfever, it really does spoil my summer every year
I get the sneezy nose, itchy runny eyes (I itch them so much that I look as if I am deformed most days) and the itchy throat. And that is with all my medication.
I can be such a monster in the summer as it makes me so irritable plus it costs a fortune as I get tablets and nasal spray on prescription and eye drops over the counter (did get them on script too but pharmacist told me they were cheaper without a script!)

Why'd you have to go remind me what i've got to look forward to in a few weeks sob, sob. Actually my eyes have been a bit itchy for the past few days, I bet the rape seed is flowering somewhere.

I have been suffering this year since March, I am so fed up with it and its a good thing that I bought waterproof mascara. I am going through packets of tissues each day and everyone is asking me have I got the flu. Its easier to say yes in spanish than it is to explain about this alergy.

I don't suffer with it too bad, but my poor daughter suffers horribly. She's 8 but still at that age where I feel so helpless. She looks so miserable and wants me to do something to help her but other than treat her symptoms, there is nothing

My husband and kids are really suffering.... The kids have noses that run faster than I can get the Kleenex out, and poor DH's get so bad that his eyes almost swell up... I think this year will be better for the kids.... Yesterday the Dr. recommended something for the kids that seems to be working... Most meds make them go crazy!! DH is yet to find something that will work... Poor guy!!

I have my lashes tinted in the summer so I don't have to wear any

We have all started our summer allergy meds as of two weeks ago. My daughter and I take an antihistamine every day. Unfortunately, that wasn't fast enough and I spent Monday night in the ER with my daughter. She gets terrible asthma with her allergies on top of the itching, etc. Poor baby! The meds do help if you take them regularly. We also have outdoor clothes and indoor clothes when it gets really bad, and always make sure to shower when coming in from outside.
