Is my girl brindle or fawn?
I know this is a really silly question and I've looked through the pics in the brindle and fawn section. Dixie's AKC papers are marked 'brindle' but she just doesn't look like the others that are in the picture section. My Dixie has some darker colors on her closer to the back of her but they don't look like the typical brindle to me. Is it because she is really young and they will become more prominent as she gets older?
I've uploaded a pic of her in the gallery so you all can see what I'm talking about. I think it’s pending approval now.

Some brindle boxers have a lot of "stripes," while others have very few. It takes very few brindle markings to be considered brindle.

When Atlas was small he did not have very many stripes on him. As he got older more stripes appeared. He is brindle.

I finally have pics uploaded into my gallery for folks to see what I'm talking about now. She doesn't have a stripe on her but kinda black tipped closer to back end. I've been doing alot of reading on the website and I've learned so much about the boxer breed than I ever thought I would. I'm really glad this site is here!
Thanks for the replys

I don't see any stripes but she has a black tinge to her, like speckled, so maybe a brindle?

Ditto, from what I can see I'd say she was fawn.
Love her white face

She is fawn The sort of shading she has is not unheard of... but all the same, I'd actually question whether she is a full bred boxer. That is not intended to be rude, btw - but you asked about her and she is not really typical of a boxer puppy in appearance. She looks a little as though she's mixed with something like a Bernese Mountain Dog (which could also account for the unusual colouring).

I even thought that maybe she wasn't pure bred boxer as well, due to her long snout. I have AKC papers coming in on her but from what I've read...that doesn't mean much beings that I bought her from a BYB.
Thanks for the replies, now I know I'm not the only one that noticed she was a little different
