Our girl tyson is 5 months and she just hit 30 lbs. She was the runt and is small for her age, and small compared to her family. Just off my expierence I would say that your puppy is pretty big for his size. Maybe you could call another vet for a second opinion if you are still wondering.

Help I need Some Advice

I am a 23 yr old guy and I had a boxer for about 6 years and unfortunately I had Lost him on Friday my parents put it to sleep on Friday without telling me because her cancer got very bad that day and she couldnt breath, I mean I knew she was gona die because i Knew she had cancer and she couldnt walk on one foot. But I am so upset that I couldnt even say goodbye. She was like the only person there for me at home, but now that shes not there my house is so depressing and I feel so alone and depressed. I want to get another boxer but unfortunately I live with my oarents and they do not want to get another dog saying that they dont to go trough the same heartache again. But also i am kinda worried about getting another one because i wouldnt want tit to get sick like that again, is this a common thing with boxers or did we get unlcuky. Please give me some advice on what to do.

Unhappy So sorry Joe123

We lost our first boxer in September of 2002. Barkley died from a brain tumor. It was one of the saddest days. They are a part of your family. Give your parents some time they may change their minds. I will admit there are times when I think "oh it would be so much easier to not have the babies" but then they just look at you and you can't help but feel guilty for thinking that. But with 2 teenage daughters (god help us) we are so busy. Remember all the good times and once again I'm so sorry for your loss and that you never got to say good bye. Just know that your dog is in a better place and in a healthy body. Who knows maybe she and Barkley have hooked up and are having a great time!!!

Take care,
