freckles and predisposition?

i know humans with fair skin and freckles are more prone to skin cancer than most people, does the same to apply to dogs with more pigmentation or freckles?i wonder if there has ever been a study about such a seemingly pointless, yet succint question.

And yes, I think that is true about dogs with less pigment being like fair-skinned humans. It isn't just the white coat that makes white boxers more prone to sunburn, it's the lack of pigment in their skin. Which, makes them more likely to burn, just like fair-skinned humans.
