Underbite

I know the underbite is a boxer trait. But, is there a point where the underbite is too large? Is there an amount of space that should be between the top and bottom teeth/gum line when the mouth is closed?

the underbite is supposed to be about the width of a pencil. Sascha's is about 3/4 of an inch
