My Boxer thinks she is a skin Kid

Cayenne loves kids. She thinks they are litter mates. I am working with the trainer to get her over this but she is not around children often enough to really practice. I am currently working on the great a friendly stranger routine with her. However, she does this just fine with the first meeting it is after this that she gets really riled up. My step son was down this weekend and they wrestled and wrestled. She did quiet well but after the playtime or when he was done she is still ready to go. Is there a technique that anyone uses to teach enough is enough?

This might sound harsh, tell her no firmly. Puy her in her Crate, or something similar. You have to be the boss.

You are doing just fine When your step son is done playing you need a word to use like "enough" or "done". This should signal to her playtime is over with him. He should totally ignore her if she is pestering him so that she understands when the command word is spoken what it means. If she goes off to play with another toy that is a good thing because then she is not pestering your step son. I would not suggest the crate because Cayenne likes her crate a lot and would not want to see her start to associate it with negative things i.e. no playtime. Good luck and keep up the good work
