Tongue hangs out

Hello everyone, does anyone else have a boxer that cannot keep their tongue in their mouth?? My boxer is a little over a year now and from what the vet says, Boxer's have the longest tongue out of all breeds but I've never seen one that cannot keep their tongue in their mouth, it's cute and all but is there anything I can do about it?? I have pics, if you guys want to see, just please let me know how to post them in a thread

Regardless, there is really nothing you can do about the tongue, it's what they were born with.

My girls tongue is out more often than not. A good portion of the pics of her in the gallery are with it out. I like to say that "she forgot" to put it back in but it just is what it is.
She always sleeps with it out.
Last week at the oncologists office when they gave her a light sedative the vet told the student to watch and see when her tongue comes out as that is *sometimes* a good indicator of complete relaxation......
Well Cami's tongue was already out. Blew that theory out of the water!
Her tongue is quite large and longer than others Boxers that I know. Oh well. I love the cute "peperoni" thing when it gets all dried out. LOL

My girl always has her tongue slightly out too. Her mouth is crooked so it escapes out one side. When she sleeps it gets all dried out like a potato chip. I think its endearing.

Lol, thanks for the responses, I figuered I was not alone, it is pretty funny when they fall asleep with it out, it's like samd paper when she wakes up, but she's still adorable and intimidating when she wants to be. Thanks again everyone!

Zebedee has a tongue that almost seems too big for his mouth too

Cody has a huge horse tongue. Most of the time when he is sleeping it is sticking out. I think that it is just the most precious thing. He does keep it in when he is just lounging around or walking around. Aniah has a normal size tongue....I don't think I have ever seen it stick out when she is sleeping at all.
