Is he mixed?? HELP!

I'm glad you love him. He is cute! But not all Boxer, and the first thing that popped into my head is hound, or gundog of some sort (retreiver, Vizla, lab).

I don't want to make you feel bad, but how did you choose this "breeder?" Did they give you papers for the pup or tell you he is registered? Did you pay a premium price for him as a purebred (you don't have to tell us but it's something to think about)?

If it was me I would report them if they passed the puppy off as AKC registered, and take them to small claims court to get your money back since they clearly misled you. With all the talk of puppy mills and backyard breeders we really don't need irresponsible people breeding their dogs just because they want to make a quick buck off of their bitch. As a responsible owner, you need to be part of stopping this cycle. PLEASE!

That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your puppy. It's certainly not his fault that the "breeder" was irresponsible. I just hate to see people taken advantage of and poor breeding passed on for pure greed. Sigh...if only we could fix the world! lol
