Is she white or fawn?
So our new rescue (pics in gallery) is about 1/2 white, 1/2 fawn. She has a fawn mask and a fawn "saddle" but the rest of her is white. I was under the impression that if white makes up greater than 1/3 of their body they are considered a white boxer rather than fawn. Sometimes I feel funny referring to her as a white Boxer though because she has a lot of fawn as well!! What is the correct color to call her?!?!

Re: Is she white or fawn?
It is a hard call. I am sure someone has the answer, but to me I would call her white. She is beautiful though! I have never seen markings like that, I am sure she draws a crowd!

Re: Is she white or fawn?
I guess I would call her a fawn with way too much white.

Re: Is she white or fawn?
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who is unsure . I'm just not sure which gallery to upload her pics in. I did the ones of herself in "white boxers" and they got approved that way, so I guess I should just keep doing that

Re: Is she white or fawn?
She'd probably fit under the definition of 'check' or 'parti-colored' with that much fawn, but 'white' may be easier.

Re: Is she white or fawn?
I would say white too. Isn't she beautiful! She looks a little like my Luka with the eye patches (my son says he's a pirate!)

Re: Is she white or fawn?
I think her front half wanted to be white and the back half fawn! LoL Love her markings! I think I'd just call her fawn with extra flash.

I also think that the term for her coloring is checked. She is absolutely gorgeous, however, and you must feel fortunate for having such a beauty in your life!

Re: Is she white or fawn?
Thanks everyone! When I saw her pic online we went down right away to check her out, the whole ride I was just hoping that she had a great temperment. When they brought her out to us and she was beaning and wiggling I knew she'd be coming home with us . Havoc beans and wiggles, but she looks like she's having a seizure when she does it, it's hilarious!! We had Havoc and introduced them, but I could just tell from her temperment that there would be no problems, and there isn't, the two of them are such goons!!

Re: Is she white or fawn?
Just looked in your gallery. She is very beautiful. A real one off!!
I would call her white with a fawn cape and sunglasses.
