Kamakzi Swimmer

I knew that boxers can't cope with the weather when it's too hot but I didn't realise the lengths that they would go to to stay cool... until Sunday.
We were in the park playing catch and I usually take Gracie to the duck pond for a wee drink but she takes some coaxing as there are some large swans which like to zoom over and see what we are doing.
This time Gracie decides to charge down the hill and take a flying leap into the pond between two rather shocked swans and just lay there, occasionally dipping her head under. I was jumping up and down worried that the swans would attack but they just circled, looking at her as if to say, "Look, it's just another one of those crazy Boxers!!"

Oh, that's too funny Basil loves to swim but he's never taken a running leap before.

LC thinks that playing in the sprinklers is good cool fun, but getting in ponds or lakes is too much like taking a bath. Bleah!!
