Luna has a sister (finally!) (long)

So saturday while jill was at the shelter picking up buddy the boston terrier...i was over on the other side of the country picking up Luna's little sister Christmas (now stella) from the shelter that she takes classes from. Stella is a 4 1/2 month old pointer/terrier mix...but her face looks like a hot doggie face. She is so cute and has tons of confidence..very unlike luna. The behaviorist at the shelter actually called me last thursday to say that they had a puppy that is going to (hopefully) help luna with her shyness/fear issues. So i ran right up there to meet her!!!

So they have been best friends since saturday!!! I had luna crated while i went to get stella...and when i got home i crated stella downstairs so i could take luna outside. Well at first she was scared of the crate and barked at it...then she realized who was inside and went over and was all wiggles and wags!!!

Since then they have been playing like crazy!!! but they are really good with eachother. Luna is so good and gentle with her...stella is not even 20 lbs!!!

Yesterday we went to my parents house and stella fit in right away...my moms BTs (one doesn't really care for puppies) even wanted to play with her. Stella went inside and raced right over to my dad, jumped in his lap and gave him lots of kisses!!!

Im fostering her to adopt and im not bringing her back..only to return the crate the shelter let me borrow. We even went to the grand opeing of Petsmart yesterday to get stella her very own crate...eveyone loved her and she was great...saying hi to everyone. Luna stayed in the car because the place was packed.


i will have pictures soon...just have to upload them...but you all know what its like to get a new puppy...no time for anything!!!!

that is true...they were playing with something and one of them got all tangled up in the speaker wires and knocked the radio off the table!!! They haven't killed any toys yet...but i totally see it coming

Stella is so smart too...she already figured out the bells...and now luna understands them.
