Eerie here while Lily's at daycamp

My bf has been really sick these last couple of days and I've been working plus the weather has been nasty so all Lily has been doing is sleeping with her daddy. Well today she has tons and tons of energy to burn because the weather is finally nice outside and she's ready to go. I have to go to work her an an hour and my bf is still sick so as I was getting ready to take her on a 45 minute walk, he thought she would probably have fun a daycamp. So we called, and off she went as happy as can be!

So we're sitting at home while I'm getting ready to go and it feels soo wierd being at home without her here. One of us keeps getting up to go check on her because it is so quiet! It is really eerie!! It's amazing how different the atmosphere at home feels when you are at home but you're Boxer is not! At least she is having fun!!

I know what you mean about eerie! Last year Isis had to be hospitalized for week because she was ill and the house was awfully quiet... I kept imagining that I heard her collar jangle or the patter of her little feet. Boy did I ever fuss over her when she came back - and still do!
