Silly Taz, thought I was kicking him out(kinda long)
Since we got Laila's big girl crate I have been going crazy to try to figure out a better solution for 2 big crates in my kitchen. I decided yesterday that something had to be done especially since we are starting on a entire home remodel with the kitchen #1 on my priority list. I put the boxerkids and for the most part the skin kids in the backyard to play, enjoy the nice weather, and stay out of my way. After a couple of hours of furious cleaning (including taking both crates out to front yard for good scrub down) I hear
Taz barking at the sliding glass door. It finally occured to me that he was staring at the spot where his crate had been right inside the door and barking. He would look at his empty spot which now held the kitchen table, look back at the spot and bark. I laughed so hard when I realized he must have thought I was kicking him out. So I hurried up and finished clearing out his new crate spot, brought it back in, set it up with fresh clean blankies and a greenie. When I brought him in to show him that mommy was just making it better he flopped down in his crate, grabbed his greenie, and gave me a look as if to say whew, thank's mom I was really worried. I think he likes his new location better because he can now see the TV and watch cartoons with the kids from his bed. Silly old man

Poor Taz - I can just imagine the shocked look on his face and then the boxer sigh of relief when he realized the crate was being moved back.

That's so cute. We moved the girls crates out of our bedroom today to shampoo the carpet. We put them out in the screen room and they're both going nuts like how come we've been moved out here Actually poor babies have been out alot today as we did the living room carpet <yucky> and the bedroom too. Those are the 2 rooms the girls have the run of and you can definitely tell by the carpet!!

Poor Taz thought he was getting booted out. Glad to hear he is happy and back in his new, cleaned up crate. I doubt he'll be getting out of it anytime soon for fear of you taking it again.

That is so cute. Mine do the same thing when I mess with their crate. we moved them to the basement out of the dinning room. They like it okay there and we have all the floor space back. Actully all the pets got moved to the basement. Now they have their own room!!

When I move Bailey's crate, she just sits in the spot and looks at me, kind of a get my crate NOW look. If it takes to long she searches for it and then flops down inside when she finds it.

Now that his crate has been in it's new location for a few days I think he really likes it there. He can see down the hall, in the kitchen, and in the livingroom. Mommy is happier too because she has her kitchen more functional.
