What are all these creatures?
Lily seems to keep meeting new creatures so I thought I would post her reactions. What does everyone else's Boxers do during creature encounters?
Birds - I'm in heaven! I was sent flying squeaky toys!
Squirrels - OK, ready, set, pounce and tree 'em
Cows - What in the world are those? I'm sure they're OK, ah ha, I can full-
speed chase them!
Snakes - Stand very very still because I don't understand that thing
Deer - Oh my, they jump through tall grass like I do. I better watch to get
some pointers
Cats - Hey, I can raise my back hair as well! What is that hissing noise
though? I'll tilt my head from side to side until I figure it out.

Birdies - little flying toys, wants to jump for them, sometime through the sliding door.
Duckies - oh, I don't know if I can swim, but I want to play in the pond too.
Cows - just have to look while driving by, then keep looking till I can't see them anymore.
Cats - wants to play, big moving fluffy toys, just don't pick on his little Doxie buddy @ the grooms, he didn't like that one.
So far thats all we have.

Cats..."Mommy, why won't he play with me instead hissing from under that car?"
Birds..."Mommy, why won't he play with me instead of flying away?"
Butterflies/Dragonflies..."Mommy, why won't he...
You get the picture. One departure from the above:
Squirrels..."Mommy, PLEASE let me kill him!"
LOL!!

Little People...."I bet I can knock one over."
Big People....."Why won't he put his face down so I can slap it with my tongue? I'll just have to jump up and do it."

LOL! All of your responses are so funny! Lily encountered two more creatures today so I thought I would add on
Alpaca - Whoa, what is that thing? Just let me squeeze through this barb wire fence here.... AHHH, it bite me! (the barb wire) Let's go on now mommy.
Horse - Holy horse! That thing is huge! Mom, mom?!? It's walking next to us!! Mom?!? Oh my, your petting it???? Is it nice? It must be, ah ha, Let's play!! Mom, now if you could just let go of the leash for a sec...
Once we got home, it was time for a Boxer burn! Just so much excitement for one walk!

Charlie Paper has yet to encounter a deer or cow, but here's his list:
cat - (we have one in the house) "Play with me!" (puts a paw on her back, kitty is not impressed)
horse - "its TEDDY!!" has to run around his stall and try to lick his nose while Teddy tries to playfully lip or nip Charlie
Bird - "Is it flying food?" very interested in chasing them, and the one who we rescued. He'll stare at his cage for like 10 minutes
frogs - "how does it hop? where's it going? I wanna play!"

Had to add a new one!
Coyote - Whoa! That is intriguing. Is that some sort of wild dog? Can I go over and sniff its butt? OK, tell you what, why don't you just let me go bunny hunting with it!
Sheep in a parking lot - OK, that is a little wierd. Kinda freaky actually. OK, very freaky! I'm going to bark and it and make it scared! Haha! Take that sheep!

For living on the outskirts of the city Caesar has encountered many more creatures than I thought possible in his almost 4 years:
cats: must try to catch that and eat it!
frogs: must eat that then spit it out!
bees: oh that hurts but I'll eat it anyway!
spiders: see bees
squirrels: must kill!
skunks: must kill--ooh yuck--hey why's everyone freaking out?
horse: stand very still and stare at that HUGE dog--mom will I get that big?
birds: try to catch those flying toys-got one--hey mom's freaking out again/
wild turkey: chase that no wait, RUN! RUN! RUN!

Lilly's response
Bird, I must bark at the bird, now I will growl, no bark, no growl,
Let me stand in front of you Mom and protect you from the big mean bird
Actually she has this response to everything she's met so far, dogs, geese, pedestrians, buses, you name it, she's got my back. The fool
