Today's dog park visit.....

I took Cami to the local dog park this evening and she got to meet another BW member named Lola who is just a big cutie pie and they got along great playing like 2 crazy girls! While there we also met up with another boxer (and parents). He was a handsome 1 year old brindle. His mom made it clear that he was going to be used as a stud dog because they wanted a pup. I told her that there were lots of boxers in rescue and she just replied that they couldn't go the rescue route because they lived in an apartment and the rescues wouldn't let them adopt.

So, I asked if she showed him! LOL She said no she didn't have the time. She even told Lola's parents if they wanted to breed her that their dog was available, they (smartly) replied, TOO LATE! (as in she is spayed), YEAH to them! These people were literally barely in the gate before trying to pimp out their poor guy. I feel bad for him. He just celebrated his first b-day last week and they are already planning on allowing him to "knock-up" another boxer just so they can have another one.

He was also involved in a minor squirmish with another dog who behaved perfectly with all the other dogs before he arrived. I *may* have suggested to them that it was because their dog wasn't neutered!

Oh well, you can't teach a "set in their way owner" new tricks.

Thank for saying Lola is a cutie pie. Cami is a preety girl herself and very well behaved. Lola had a great time playing and boxing with Cami. Hope to see you there again, wished we lived closer than 30-45min. away.
