The last cupcake

Happy Easter everybody!

Ok, earlier today my mother-in-law brought over a bunch of cupcakes for our BBQ. My kids, nephews & niece all grabbed some and I saw Rocky staring at them very soulfully. I took one and hid it for me for later.

Now my kids went to bed at 9:00 and after everything settled down I brought out my cupcake and again there is Rocky staring. I told him sorry buddy this one is mine. Before I could get one bite, I tripped and the cupcake flew out of my hand and landed on top of Miss Mia's head! Rocky was there quick as a flash to scoop up the sweet before I could even shed one tear and I swear he had a look of complete victory! I had to get some baby wipes to clean up the pink icing off Mia's poor head while Rocky sat & watched! AAAAAHHHH...I really wanted that cupcake!

Cute story, Are you sure that Rocky doesn't have some kind of magical powers <G> he finally got to have HIS cupcake, I think he thought that it had his name on it .. was prob thinking Hee heee when you said" Sorry Buddie its mine.." Well maybe not his name on it but his eyes were keeping track of it all day, I bet if you could of read his thoughts he was prob laughing hee hee to him self when you said to him that was your cupcake.. And then all of sudden the race was on.. but he was awful nice to share his frosting with poor unsuspecting Mia who prob looked adorable with pink frosting on her head. Sorry that you missed out. But the laughs they give us are priceless and don't have any calories so he's doing his best to keep his mom in shape.

Thats too cute!! I can relate, one day after a very hard day at work all I wanted was a muffin, odd request but whatever. Boomer manged to eat the top off it!!! Those boxers, they know where the good food is I guess

What was it you tripped over? It wasn't perhaps a carefully placed dog toy was it?

I bet poor Mia was terrified that Rocky was going to mistake her head as being part of the cupcake! Then she was problably mad that all that tasty frosting was somewhere she couldn't reach to lick it off! Thanks for the laugh and the "visuals"!

Mia is not much of a "sweet" lover. When the cupcake hit her she made her tazmanian devil growl, but this did not stop Rocky from getting to the cupcake. I would like to think I am a smart person who can learn something new with each passing day. Lesson learned: HIDE 2 CUPCAKES NEXT TIME!!!!
