Question Does anyone use conditioner on their dog at bathtime?

Hi there,

I was wondering if any uses conditioner on their dog when they bathe them? I've used my hair conditioner on Riley a couple of times and it made her coat really soft. I wasn't sure if it was good for her skin, so I figured I'd ask BW about it. I always make sure to rinse her really well so that it doesn't irritate her skin. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

I condition every single time I shampoo them...in fact I've even given them the Aussie 3 minute miracle and they smell soooo good. I rinse really well and have never ever had any problems with itchiness or flaking.

Johnsons

I use baby shampoo most of the time and It has conditioners in it! He smells really good after ward and I usually give him and both of my cats a shot of cologne Aqua di Gio Armani! So they smell extra good... I wasn't sure if that was good for them either so I put it on their shoulderblades so they can't lick it!

But since dozer has been on Ivomec (for demodex mange) I have been giving him selsun blue baths and that also get's rid of the mites and makes him ULTRA soft! Not to mention helps with the dandruff that he has had since having the mange!

I use an eight in one. Smells like baby powder after they dry, but they have very soft and shiny coats.
