Young girl picking on old man

I need a little help. We have two boxers, both rescues. Ernie the eldest is 12 yr old and Na is our deaf 3 yr old female. I beleive that Na is jealous of Ernie, she will attack him for no reason. There has only been minor scatches and I know that it's not a real dog fight, but the wife is not happy about it. Na was pretty good for over 6 months but it has started up again with 4 or 5 attacks this past week. Ernie is the most loving old man and his age is hindering him from putting Na in her place. Na is currently in obedience training were she is doing very well. But at home she can one minute be sleeping peacefully against Ernie and 5 minutes later she might jump on him.

My wife rescued Ernie 9 yrs ago, we got Na 2 1/2 yrs ago, so Ernie would have a companion. Ernie doesn't trust Na so for the most part he keeps his distance from her. Is there anything or anybody that can help. I'm willing to try anything, Na can be so loving and playful and desires a good home as much as Ernie.

Have you thought about consulting a behaviorist or have you discussed this with your obedience trainer? I don't have any experience with this type of situation,but it sound as if Na has decided she wants to be in charge?
