Toilet paper

This morning I got up, went out with Chloe, fed her and proceeded to get ready for work. She came into the bathroom for a second - and then left... Things were just too quiet - so 3 min. later I went to see what she was up to.

Well - the little monkey stole a roll of toilet paper; carried it to her bed and shred it to tiny pieces!!! Her little tail was wagging - and she was having a great ol' time! I had such a hard time saying NO to her - I couldn't stop myself from laughing What a mess!!!

How do you say NO and BAD GIRL if within seconds the floor is covered with cottonelle snowflakes... (and you're not the one that will have to clean it up - b/c well - you have to go to work )...

I got into the habit (most of the time) of not putting toilet paper on the roll and just putting it on the counter because my cats would always unroll it and tear it into pieces. Luckily Tyson hasn't discovered toilet paper yet, but I'm sure if he found one he would do exactly what Chloe did! But I agree with you. It's so hard to get mad at them when they are having so much fun and look at you with that cute little face. I'm working on getting Tyson to understand "drop it".

Just know that you'll never have to worry about being attacked by a roll of toilet paper. Chloe will always protect you.

A good question would be how do they know which items to quietly take to another room out of your site to distroy? They don't do that with their toys, but if they get their beautiful mushy faces on something they are not supposed to have, off they go to another room! Smart babies!

Roxy steals the rolls too. I have 3 cats and they have never shown an interest, but Roxy she looks for the opportunity to take the roll! Glad others have the same issue. Oh and they are so cute and they know it!

Just the laugh I needed to get me through the last hour of my work day. Thank you!

What a funny story...no better way to start the day than a giggle do to your pup! Did she rip it right off the toilet paper holder?

lol Ping had a ball tearing up toilet paper too when he was little. He would unravel the one on the roll so when i came home the TP was still on the roll on the holder but there was a bathroom designed with TP!

My four year old, Megan, has had a lifelong passion for toliet paper, no matter how many reprimands she receives. However, recently I purchased a new brand that was on sale, Cottonelle with Vitamin E and Aloe, and there must be an odor or something she doesn't find appealing, because she leaves it alone.

Now if I could only find a way to break her from stealing things off the kitchen counter. My 10 year old Boxer, Max, outgrew that habit long ago, but Megan never misses an opportunity to swipe something I have failed to put away. Friday, she stole a large package of ground round I was getting ready to cook. I had stepped away from the kitchen momentarily to answer the door, and when I returned the meat was gone. I found the wrapper later in my bedroom, carefully tucked under the bed! Needless to say, the poor little girl had a major case of the runs for a day and a half.
