Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. I had mentioned on a post on the last boxer board that I had to sell my boxers before coming to Alaska for reason that I was completely misinformed about. Anyway, I caught up with the guy who bought them. He won't sell them back to me, which is too bad. But anyway, my point is, that, she just had another litter of puppies. I bred her once while I owned her with my male. Since then, they have bought her and bred her twice in a row. What I'm trying to say is that she has been bred in a row the last three times she has been in heat. I hate this, it's so hard on her, she has no less than 10 puppies every litter. I consider this cruelty. http://216.55.5.229/ubb/frown.gif I know he is going to breed her again next heat. I tried to explain why he shouldn't and convince him otherwise, but he is being a complete A**!! Is there anything that I can do about this?? He needs to give her a break. I would like it if he would just spay her, my god!!! Anyway, is there anything that can be done?? I would appreciate any advice.

P.S. What I would really like, is for the boxers to be back with me, I know what's right for them!!

Karen can you please please try to explain to him that this is just too much for her? If I were you I would just keep hounding him and begging him to let you buy them back. I wish you luck and my prayers are with this poor girl. cindy

It sounds like there is not much that can be done about this situation. Since he does own them now, it's his perogative, however wrong it might be to breed every cycle. You can just try and do your best to provide this guy with information about the dangers and effects it has on the dog, if he loves the dog, he may be willing to listen.

Does he sell these puppies or keep them? It sounds as if he's in this for the money and I don't think any amount of convincing from you will change his tune.

Good luck and sorry to hear that you had to give up your babies, it must have been so hard for you.

This must be awful for you, and your poor girl. What state is this guy in? since he has no regard for her well being, have you tried his pocketbook? Maybe if someone on your behalf made a personal, plea?

I have to agree with Jennifer on this one.
I agree that that's heartbreaking and not in her best interest to breed her like that.
But sorry, you really don't have say in what he does with her. http://216.55.5.229/ubb/frown.gif
Unfortunately, it sounds like this guy is in it for the money. Even if you were able to convince him to sell her back to you, he'd just get another female and continue breeding! http://216.55.5.229/ubb/mad.gif I think it's a losing battle.
