Kiddie pool for the furkids

My husband and I looked all over this weekend for one of those plastic molded kiddie pools so the boxers could play and cool off. We couldn't find them anywhere, apparently now they have these blow up ones which obviously is no good for the furkids. Has anyone seen the type that I am talking about, if so please let me know or keep a look out for me cause I know the "kids" would love to have their own pool!!!!

Pool

I am going looking this weekend for one for Toni. Know what you mean about the blowup kind. That would last Toni all of 5 seconds (if I am lucky). If I find any I'll let you know where. If you find any, let us know too. am sure there are a lot of us that would like them for our babies.

I always see those at Wal-Mart every summer. Did you look there? They are real cheap, too, like 10 bucks or somethin, maybe 15. Let us know if you find them!! I want to get one for Layla, since it gets so hot here!!

I agree that Wal-Mart always have them, my local grocery store HEB has some too, I am going to get one because my cocker loves the water, and Tyson welcomes any opportunity to go out and play, I hope you find the pool so the furkids can have lots of fun!!!

I don't know what stores you all have available where you live but I always see them at Wal-Mart and K-Mart. I haven't checked Target. We do have a blow-up one that we bought for our daughter to play in and I'm wondering how that's going to work since we have Coco this year. We may have to put it on the side of the house, out of the backyard. I did get the slip & slide out for the kids the other day when it was hot, I wished you all could have seen Coco when they were playing on that. The water shoots out the side to keep the slide part wet, she was going crazy trying to catch that water coming out of there. It was just too cute. I did get some pics of her attacking the sprinkler, I'll have to try and get them posted.

I found mine at an ACE Hardware; however, my three boxers wouldn't play/or lay in it. They would get their toys out of it, if they accidently got dropped in the water, but that was all.

Karen

P.S. They eventually chewed a hole in the bottom and that was that.

i have seen them this spring at walmart and kmart for about $15, bu our walmart here is almost out of them and they said they are not reordering them b/c most people are buying the blow up kind, so i am sure it won't be long till they quit making them all together

I remember seeing them before at the bigger Toys R Us stores. I don't know about this season though. Worth a shot!

Years ago, I remember buying a Little Tikes pool at Toys R Us with a slide and sprinkler (Heavier duty plus hook up the hose and there's a shower too!) for my kids when they were too young for our inground pool.

I forgot all about that! Gonna have to dig that out for Otis! The skin kids are patiently (NOT) waiting for us to open the inground pool. lol

Good Luck!

I bought one for Buster a couple years ago and it came from Walmart. The smallest one they had - it was like $7.00.

He'll stand in the shower and let me bathe him - but he won't step foot anywhere near that pool.
