I was just going to post about this, so I guess I'll just respond. Last night and this morning I really realized how Boomer is acting more and more grown up. Last night, he actually figured out how to squeak his squeaky toys. Don't know if that's good or bad, but at least it's something new learned. Of course, it had to be during American Idol Results show, so all I heard was "and the first person through is SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK"

So luckily, I could see the person and didn't really HAVE to hear it. Then this morning, my morning ritual is-get in the shower, then come into the living room and turn the TV on to watch the news while I put my make-up on. Usually, Boomer lays at my feet (on them, actually) but this morning he climbed up into the chair (never been able to do that) and laid in my lap the whole time! It was SOOOOOO sweet. He just snored and snored right there in my lap. He's usually pretty independent with me, but I guess he needed a little mama time.

edit: I guess I should mention, Boom is 4 months old
