Grate Dane once, but that was b/c he was playing with my friends Dane that had the same markings. Everyone thought they were father and son. It was cute!
I usually get Pitbull and Rotti.

pitbull, St. Benard, mini-boxer, Staffordshire Terrier

It's the people who respond "No it's not" when I say she's a Boxer!! Hubby asked a woman the same thing...."are you man or woman?"...she responded "woman" in a very sarcastic tone, and hubby said "no you're not!"

"Pitbull"..."Hey what exactly is that?"..."Bulldog" (my mother mostly just because she can't remember BOXER)..."one of those dogs"... "

But my favorite are the folks that call her a HIM...she had puppies years ago...that much is obvious, and she is DEFINITELY female (hello! do you see anything)...I correct them but they still say HIM.

Then there is ...'you shouldn't be breeding her...she's too old...' 'Where are the puppies? ' 'I can't believe you let her have puppies' Uh EXCUSE ME!...her nipples are huge and long...have always been even according to her previous owner that bred her once, realized she was not a good mommy and retired her (they breed Boxers as their business) and we adopted her three years later. OH my word!

Definatly a pit bull. We visited my parents house with Junior the other day and kids in the yard in back of us were playing loudly, so Junior went to go see what all the fuss is about. He didn't bark or jump or anything but look at them and I hear, "Get out of here you stupid pit bull". I was so insulted and mad b/c Junior did nothing to instigate an insult like that. If they only new how sweet and friendly he was...

Let's see... Bella has been mistaken for a miniature boxer (puppy), and a pit bull

Petey seems to have some bullmastiff in him, but no one every picks up on that. They just think he must be so expensive because he is all white! I just laugh when they say that.

The most common question I get is "does he have boxer in him?" Duh, yes, 100%! I was once also asked if he was "one of them fighting breeds" - to which I replied there is not such thing as an actual fighting breed - people turn perfectly gentle dogs into fighting dogs for their own sport!

Harlie is constantly mistaken for a pit bull. I sometimes wonder if she does have it in her since she is mistaken that soo much. When I sent a pic to my aunt of Harlie last week, she emailed me back and said, "Sorry Melissa, your dog isnt a boxer, she is an Am Staff" I was so ticked that she said that. But anyways I'll upload the pic of Har that I sent her...tell me if you think she looks "pittish" I think it just might be bad breeding, since she was from a BYB. Maybe her mom or dad had pit in them...who knows. I love her to death anyways! Even if she is part pit!

Because Rita is white and has lots of boxer spots people always ask, "Is she part dalmation?" No, wierdo, a dalmation has spotted fur ...

We have heard pit before with Rita, but everyone so far knows Munson is a boxer...
