Some People!!!

Last night my husband and I (and Jemma - of course) were watching Harrys Practice - for those of you who don't know this show it is about a vet who goes around to your house and helps solve problems you have with your pet - anyway they had a sweet little 9 month old boxer on (same age as Jemma) this poor little girl had a barking problem. It was no wonder when you saw the conditions she was living in - it was a complete concrete yard surrounded by four brick walls - and the owners couldn't understand why she was barking all of the time? What are these people thinking.... My husband thinks we should write in and try to adopt this poor little girl. I have been up alnight thinking about this and just had to vent a little....... Sorry

Vent girl vent!!! Some people just shouldn't ever have dogs or any animal for that matter. i mean how would they like if they were living in a concrete box, no comforts and unable to communicate verbally with their owners. grrrrr

I could never do that to any animal, let alone a boxer!! If I couldn't offer a far better than average life to an animal, then I would not get one until I was in the position to. It's sad that animals don't get to pick where they go, because a lot of them surely do deserve much better than who and what they get stuck with.

So what did the doc suggest for this poor girl? I'm hoping a change of environment for the dog and some education for the owners! Sheesh. "Some people" is right.

Dr Harry suggested they try to make a window so poor little mia (that was the little boxers name) could see out and see what was going on - he also suggested that the owners spend a lot more time with her. I would like to bring that little girl home.....
