Are all Boxers this smart?

Max is our first Boxer. He is 8.5 weeks and he is amazing! He has learned sit, stay, shake, down commnds. He is so attentive! I do use cheese as a reward but I can't believe his attention span. Our recently deceased Dobie was also very trainable but dominant. Max is so eager to please and is learning at record speed. I just can't get over my little Einstein. Do all young boxers learn this quickly?

I found that Ozzy was very easy to train too! they are very intelligent the only thing he has trouble learning is to come when called, he usually comes but only when he wants to, its called selective hearing something most men have

Boxers are soooo smart! I found that out when I got Lacey. I had a toy poodle before her....what a difference in breeds.
I was amazed at how fast both my boxers were potty trained.

Talking Puppy love

Our ABBY is just now turning 6 months old & she is also very smart, yes some times too smart for her own good. She just finished her puppy trainning class(with an A+). Most all the things they trained her were already things we had tained her on already,so she did great. She too has selctive hearing. I find if i keep treats on me all the time then she will come when called, she never knows if i have one or not & she doesnt want to miss out just in case i do!!! I must say i have never had a smarter puppy!! Her biggest problem is counter surfing right now!!! It awful & so far there is just no breaking her of it!!!! She knocked my fresh baked beans off the counter 2 nights ago & broke the dish! Beans all over the floor. Just before i was ready to have supper!! So she earned herself a 45 minute time out!!!! If anyone has any ideas on how to break her of this PLEASE>>> let me know. Thanks

Thanks for all of the replies. Too smart! Indeed, boxers may very well be too smart.
