Help-Leena's eyes are swollen shut

And hurting her bad. Last night after I let her outside, I noticed that her left eye was a little swollen. I honestly didn't think much of it except allergies. I remember her crying in the middle of the night, and just thought she was bored. When I saw her this morning, I immediately started bawling. I should have woke up and checked on her. Her eyes are now swollen shut. She has to raise her head up towards the ceiling to see in front of her. They are also very runny. She has a vet appointment in 30 min.

Poor Leena. Maybe something bit her and she had an allergic reaction to it. Let us know how she makes out at the vet.

Well I took her this morning to the vet. They first thought it could be a snake bite due to the amount of swelling in both eyes, but they only found 1 oozing puncture mark. I cried too hard to talk to them on the phone, and then when we got there I cried again. All I could do was shake my head to answer their questions. They put numbing drops in each eye, and dyed them so when they put the blue light up they could see if her eyes were scratched; they weren't. They were horrible this morning, but worse now. It look like 2 purplish/red golf balls on top of her eyes. She lets out cries every once in a while, so I know she is hurting. I am going to take a picture of her face so I can tell tomorrow if it's any better or worse than today. We will be going back to the vet if it isn't looking better in a while.
