Smile Funny Molly Stories

Last night when I got home from taking Molly over to play with her best friend (an Olde English Sheepdog) I went upstairs to change and Molly, being all wound up jumped on the bed (and of course half the bed covers slid over). Only thing is I had opened the blind earlier that day (it is usually closed to prevent heat loss) and when I turned the light on Molly saw her reflection in the glass She went absolutely nuts growling and barking her mean ferocious CUJO type bark, her hair was standing up so straight on her back it was almost going towards her head. I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.

I turned off the light and she calmed down then I turned it back on and the same thing happened. What is really so strange about it is she is overly friendly towards people and dogs and there are times that I wonder if she would protect me if I needed her. But at night all she has to do is see car lights go by and she is barking. Of course if some one walks by at night when she is doing her business that is another matter.. all tail stub and bum awriggling. Oh well.

One other short thing she does that I think is funny. Her favorite toy is a racquetball. She will take it in her mouth and whooap spit it out between her teeth. (it sounds like when you put your finger in a pop bottle and make a popping sound pulling it out) She does it with such velocity that if you get hit by the ball as it comes flying out it stings!

Sorry so long but I hope you found these stories amusing.

Miss Skyler has done almost the same thing!!
She was literally having one more fit in my daughters bedroom one day, sounded like she was going to tear into something and rip it to shreds.. she was doing a "jackhammer" , barking and growling like crazyyyyyy.. I walked in to find my daughters mirror leaning against the dresser on the floor, Skyler was seeing her own reflection.

Funniest thing was... she would run around to the back of the mirror trying to find that strange dog that was invading her house!! LOL!!

The mirror story is funny.

What surprised me with Molly is when she sees herself in the oven door or on the black marble walls at the bank she looks at herself but she doesn't go all bonzo.

I just love the funny things they do

For a while my parents thought their boxer Leah was phsycic. They couldn't understand how she could see someone coming down their driveway even though she wasn't looking out of the window One day the penny dropped, they have a large glass cabinet in their lounge on the opposite side to the window, Leah facing the cabinet could see in it the reflection of anyone arriving. Mystery solved.

Ruby also saw her reflection in a mirror that I had propped up in my bedroom. She walked into the room, saw this other dog and jumped. Then she went up to the mirror and really looked in it. I think she knew it was her in the mirror. After that she would just walk over any time she came in and look at herself. It was funny.

Tex discovers his shadow!

Tex and Belle were roughhousing the other day doing their usual playtime game where they pretend to fight but don't bite each other.

Tex suddenly spots his shadow out of the corner of his eye and turns and lunges face first into the carpet!

He backed away, shook his head, had another look and then lunged for it again!

Right about then, Belle took advantage and went on the offensive. Text was surrounded, Belle on one side and his shadow on the other. He was looking back and forth real quick. We were cracking up.

I'm guessing their little game is to establish who is dominant. How can bystanders tell who wins the game? (I hope it wasn't the shadow)

I'll let'em play until they get too rowdy then I shut things down by clapping my hands and calling their names. They're good sports about it and they always stop when told to do so.
