Tongue stuck!!
Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone elses babies have done this. I had Boz out to go to the bathroom. This is Manitoba and it's freezing here right now. Well we have this metal bannister going up the steps and Boz licked it His tongue stuck to it and he pulled it off right away and it ripped the skin off!! He didn't even cry or anything...Just went to the door and wanted in from the cold. He's okay, but he looked like a frog catching a fly frogicon Hehe, I know I'm bad for laughing, but it's pretty funny now I can't believe he did that and I hope he never does it again. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

poor Boz...I hope it doesn't hurt him at all, it would have been quite a funny sight though.......trust a Boxer to do something like that

OMG!!
Brandi just did this today, she got stuck to the laundry pole, but she just stood there instead of pulling, with the pups and Caesar looking at her like they were laughing. I went out and poured water on her tongue and it came right off the pole, but poor baby was all wet and couldn't wait to get in the house. She went in my bed and stayed there like I was punishing her. She is 3yrs and never did this before and I hope never again. I thought it was going to be a vet visit but all is well except she doesn't want to eat, I'm sure her tongue feels funny.

Peg are you serious? Its a good thing your baby stayed there and didn't rip it off like my baby. Glad to hear she's okay though. That is such a coincidence, I never thought any other dog would do such a thing. Boxers are full of surprises!
