Exclamation Kapow!!!!

Boy has my boxer Molly had it in for me lately. Two days ago I was down on the floor playing with her (yeah I know, real bright) when --WHAM she whacks me on the nose. I thought she broke it After determining that she hadn't I decided enough play and took her out to do her business. When we came in I went to do the potty thing myself. What do I see -- blood on my nose where the skin split .

Then yesterday I sat down to enjoy a little respite and she comes running in and jumps from about 3 feet away with all her considerable weight ( she is a very slim but muscley 65 lbs ) directed into my lower right abdomen. Good thing cause otherwise I think she would have ruptured something.

No attacks today so far!

I know how you feel...but it is so hard to stay away from our babies. I've had this acne thing on my cheek for 2 weeks now and as I keep looking at it, I think it isn't acne at all, but rather a small bruise that BooBoo must have given me during sleep!!! I get scared of his big paw sometimes.

Gidget gave me a good whack in the face a couple of days ago, I still have the scratch under my right eye!. We were sitting in the chair having a cuddle when out of nowhere, WHAM!, I know she was just trying to get my attention but she sure raised a whelt! When I yelled (from pain and surprise) she licked my face as if to say "sorry mom, don't know my own strength". Boxers can really pack a punch, S'pose that's where they got their name?

Rowdy almost made me fall down in pain after a left hook. I learned that when he jumps at me, I should turn my backside to him and knock him away with my bum. I couldn't bear to quit roughhousing with him. It's way too fun. I'm glad he knows his limits with my boys. They'll wrestle with him for 30 minutes or more without any problems.

Personal Gym

I'm so glad its not summer here. I'd be embarrassed to wear shorts and t shirts with all my bruises. Bad enough you can see the ones on my hands and face.
Bob, weave, jab, uppercut, right hook- Yep thats my boy.
I particullary love/hate when they use you for a springboard . They come running full speed across the yard and bounce off you with all 4 feet.
This is my third boxer and all have used my body as their personal gym to work out on.
Yeah, I'm working on getting him to stop, but its just so darn funny. Too bad it hurts so much.
What's a boxer if he doesn't box with you once in a while?

I know the feeling, I'm glad it's cold enough to wear long sleeves or people might start to think I'm abused

The other day Daniel was running around the house playing when Creed decided (in his great wisdom) enough was enough! He ran full speed across the room and body slammed him. It didn't hurt Daniel although it really surprised him It surprised me too but the expression on his face was priceless. All my attempts to get him to settle down did not work so Creed took the more drastic approach.

After a good laugh over it, all of us snuggled up and took a nap on the couch Gotta love those fur babies!

Tia jumped up and hit her head on my nose! My eyes watered, I got dizzy, it hurt! It gave me a nice bruise on the middle of my nose. I take TaeKwonDo so everyone at work thought I had gotten clocked at class. No, but I sure did get "boxed"!

LOL! My study partner knows how you all feel. He came over a few days ago and Lou decides its time to run around in circles all over my room. He runs around, jumps on the bed, off the bed, on the bed and finally straight into my friends head on the recliner next to the bed. It was hilarious (to me anyway). My friend was kinda mad, but he got over it. At least he didn't get a bloody nose!

I am getting a kick out of everyone's responses.

We have had some experiences with our boxer baby also. My husband has really gotten it a few times since he gets really close and down on the floor with her. A few punches in the face. I had her jump up and her head banged on by chin. Boy did that hurt, but I was fine and one time she punched me in the nose and it started to bleed, I was a bit upset about that. But she was forgiven a few minutes later. They really do not know their strength. I try not to get down on the floor with her because she loves to wrestle!

Got to love these funny boxers!
