What a spoiled little stinker my Lucy is. We usually share a banana in the mornings, but I was really craving an orange. I gave her the little wedge in the center. She kept dropping it, then stomping on it.

Finally she just sat and drooled while I ate the larger wedges, so I decided to bite a piece of mine off for her and she gobbled it right down, lickety split. LOL

So evidently the taste better with MY slobber on them.

It reminds me of a story I was reading to my kids years ago about a king having someone to taste his food before he ate it just to make sure it was,nt poisened. So maybe your Lucy has royal blood running through her viens.!!!!!!!!!!

My sisters Lab sort of stoped eating his food a while back so she tricked him, she put it on a plate and left it on the table while they ate and then put the plate down of him and he would gobble it up no problem as he thought it was table food.

Achilles and I also share a banana in the mornings, and if im not carefull he will eat the peel out of the trash.

Something also similar is that some mornings i eat grapefruits and Achilles will stare at me, drooling to get a piece, but he doesn't like the taste unless he gets a piece that I bite off.

Oh wow, Lucy will try to eat the peel too, I just can't imagine it tastes good!
