Weird Habits?

Does your boxer have any weird habits? Each and every time it's time to go for a walk, Conelius runs up the stairs before I can put his harness on. He's not doing anything except peering down from the stop stair. And he may do it multiple times but at least once. Not sure why or when this started but it's pretty comical knowing full well that he wants to go for a w-a-l-k. I can't even say the word without him running toward the door so I'm not sure what all the other hoopla is about. Cornelius can't be the only knucklehead.

I'd have to say that the strangest one is walking around the kitchen island from her bed before eating.

O Her Bed

napoleon will turn his back to you, sit down then twist his head around to look at you...

Poor Bella, she has too many to list.
She is just funny... I had forgotten how funny a boxer puppy is.

I live in an old 4 square home and when it's time to go outside in the morning Emma has to walk completely around the dinning room table before she heads into the kitchen to go out the back door. If things are in her way she'll just walk or jump over them but she MUST make a complete circle around the table before she continues on.

They are all just so silly

Roge has the same route he takes on the back lawn when he does his Boxer burn,Its the lenght of the lawn ,around the decking, around the pampas grass plant then stops turns and follows the trail back again so much so that he has a track worn in the lawn and like Emma he will leap over anything thats in his path so as not to leave his trail.

Also if Im eating something he will come over sit and stare at me and when I saw no Roge its not for you he sits where he is and turnes his head to the side and looks at the wall, I often wonder if he thinks I cant see him if hes not looking at me or thinks well if i dont look and stay where I am she will give in and give me some.

I would so love to know what goes through their minds.

Tyson HATES anything that goes over his head!! He runs from me as soon as he sees his harness, but you ask him if he wants to go for a walk and his butt just wiggles!!

He also loves to look out the window, but he gets lazy and lays down and rests his head on the window sill, he can't see. But every 5 seconds he lifts his head to look out the window!!

Gracie picks a new toy to play with outside, every day. She takes the toy out, plays with it, then brings it back inside, like a good kid. She is so funny hauling stuff up and down the stairs

Arabella has started a new thing with her morning feeding. Well some is old some is new. She started with food agression a while back. So I started putting Thor's food down first, then hers a few minutes later. She now waits patiently until Thor is completely done before eating. The new thing is in the morning while waiting for Thor to eat she gets all kidney bean happy! She circles around in her kidnay bean with the nubber going a mile a minute wanting lots of love and attention. It like I just walked in the door. I don't know what prompted it, but it is a great way to start out the day!

My girl has to have 2 toys to play with at all times... one in front of her and one to hold in her mouth Usually one is a tennis ball and the other a different toy... or 2 balls. She'll be holding her ice cream or skunk or whatever in her mouth and batting around a tennis ball simultaneously like a soccer ball. It's cute.

When we stop at a rest stop after a long car ride Sky immediately throws herself down on the first grassy patch she sees (no matter how small) and starts rolling around

Sometimes I can't find Happy in the house and she doesn't come when called. I usually find her next to the food container in a solid down stay looking at me like "aren't you proud of me for staying in place for so long?" of course I then give her a treat and she knows it

Bode will come up and sit with his back to me for a rub. I'll pat my legs and tell him to come closer and he will scoot back until he is touching me. They he gets his "bode-sage".
