Joey will bring a new toy to bed with us for about 2 weeks... after that i guess he thinks the toy can handle sleeping in his toy bin out in the living room he actually snuggles with the toy in our bed.

Smiley, the pit/boxer, has taken to bringing in pet rocks from the garden each day. He finds the perfect rock in the morning then it becomes his buddy all that day. Even when he goes out at night, he takes the rock with him and then brings it in and sleeps with it. There's a whole pile of his daily rocks on the floor, but he always remembers which one is the favorite of the day. (I eventually take them all back out to the garden and the game goes on). Strange boy he is.
Lily has only one quirk, she must be laying on me when I go to bed. If any other dog is in her way, she will just lay on them too until they move. Then she settles in for about an hour. Eventually she hops down and lays on the cooler floor. She will whine if she can't lay on me til I curl up to sleep.

Seamus does this also, but looks at me for an impressively long time, with his head backwards! He's doing his yoga, i guess?

i meant, "upside down/backwards"...over his head and stretching back. okay, i think this is funnier than it probably is to others, but felt the need to clarify!

Bodie does the back up - lift a leg - skooch backwards until he is draped over my leg every single time I sit down. Sometimes it's not even for a butt scratch, he just likes to drape himself over me. Makes me smile every time.
Ellie's weirdest behavior is that if both dogs are outside playing if anything goes on out there - Bodie barks, she hears a car, a bird lands on the fence - she runs thru the doggie door at full speed and looks for me until she can find me, just to let me know that something isn't quite right! Then she'll make sure I come outside to check things out. She definitely hates any type of drama in her back yard!

Thats too funny! Toby does the same thing! Whenever I sit on the floor, or outside sitting on sidewalk, he backs up ever so slowly until his is straddleing my legs, somtimes just to stand there and other times he sits down on my leg or my lap as though I was a chair! My first Boxer, Rebel did the exact same thing! The are funny little characters!

Ozzy
When Ozzy comes in from playing outside he immediately goes downstairs and leans against the wall with the air conditioning vent. He loves the cool air!! I wish I had a pic of this cause its funny seeing him lean against a wall. Friends always ask me what he's doing so I have to point out the AC vent to them.
