My dog is trying to give me a heart attack

I seriously think my dog is trying to give me a heart attack. Sunday she ate a chocolate bunny, thankfully it was a small one and only a few ounces I googled it and then monitored her for the rest of the day and she was fine but my oldest got in trouble for leaving candy on her bed. And today She got a chicken bone so now I'm watching her again and the youngest is in trouble. Between the dog and the kids I am going crazy I can't wait for spring break to be over.

I hope she recovers quickly from eating the chicken bone (I'm assuming cooked? Raw wouldn't be a problem).

Is spring break just starting or ending for you?

Yes it was cooked I'm so nervous I'm thinking maybe I should give her some cooked rice to maybe help cushion it when it comes out. And spring break just started They go back next monday. Man I can't even handle a week I can't imagine what summer will be like, well at least it will be warm and they can play outside.

Our vet suggested feeding 1/2 can spinach with each meal for a couple of days to help our lab puppy pass some plastic he had eaten. I suppose it's the stringy sort of slimy quality of canned spinach that does the trick.

I hope the bone passes without issue. Good luck.

I've read about giving them cotton balls. Real cotton though, not the fake stuff. I've never tried it myself.

Happy has occasionally eaten a cooked chicken bone (picked up from the street and gobbled down before I could stop her) and she never had any problems. Not saying it's a good thing and yes it can cause problems but I think your dog will probably fine I would be more concerned if it was a bunch of cookd bones or a whole chicken or something. ((((positive vibes)))) coming your way!
