My cats do the same thing! Little Ripley has decided that he has to be in between my legs no matter where I go. It is a true challenge to get anywhere, because he continues to wriggle his way between my calves. Of course, there is no way that I could actually walk like this, so I have been constantly tripping for the last 2 1/2 weeks! I can't help but love it, though. He's my shadow and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I know the feeling all too well. My daughter lives in my finished basement apartment with her dog, Cadence (sister to my Sugar) and three cats. I have the upstairs with my four cats and Sugar, and boxer Cain.
It wouldn't be so bad, but Katie doesn't like to leave the cats and dog alone down there and spends almost all her time upstairs with us and brings them ALL up. So no we have 7 cats, and three dogs following. My cats aren't so bad, but Katie's one cat is a total moron (his name is Gizmo, but we call him Dizzy Gizzy) and he thinks he is a dog.
Sugar and Cain don't like to be out of my sight, Cadence follows Sugar, and Gizmo runs after them all. So if I go anywhere (to make a coffee, to make supper, toss something in the garbage, and yes also to the bathroom) I have four tails. Not only do I deal with the tails now, but I have a kitty obstacle course that the four tails follow me on when I try to do anything that involves moving off the couch.
I would go nuts If I had the house to myself though, Chaos has become my friend.

Sometimes I try to sneak out of the room when she is sleeping and need to go get something real quick. So far it has never worked. She hears me in her sleep and immediately gets up and follows. I have learned when walking down the hallway in the dark to listen for her nails on the tile. She often stops to see if I'm following and I have tripped over her several times.
We also play "hide and seek" around the house. She finds me on her first sweep of the house every time! She is my little velcro girl and I love her next to me as much as she likes to be next to me!

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who trips over my Boxer. Too funny.
It is so sweet that they want to be with us all the time! And I am in total agreement that there no sneaking out of the room without them!
