Not sure if anyone cares -but I had to post this. Last night my husband and I were eating in the kitchen - an area that is off limits to our 12 week old boxer - Rocky - due to our new wood floors
So we left him out of his crate, roaming around while we were in the other room - he's been fine the last week or so - he just finds a toy and plays with it - he'll occasionally sit by the gait and whine until we acknowledge him, but usually pretty good.
We hear a "scratching" noise - and I just assumed it was him "hiding" his bone again trying to bury it against the floor like he always does - we go out - he's SITTING on the lowest shelf of our built in bookcase. This bookcase is probably about 1-2 ft. off the ground - we keep his toys in here because he can reach since it's right at his face level now - well he decided since his toys were gone to physically put himself in there.
He is so silly - it made me laugh. I couldn't even yell - he's super cute. He also likes to hide underneath the fireplace stone if we are in the other room - must feel safe in confined areas like that
Silly boy....I can only imagine what places he'll find as he gets bigger!
