door opening
Dakota has now learned to open doors. If the door is not completely latched, he puts nose under the door handle, backs up until there a small opening in it, wedges his nose in the opening and finishes opening it. He learned to do this because of where his grate is.
He can also open the latched french door in the back of the home. Sometimes they are too smart for their own good. LOL

LOL. Juno's breeder has a dog that started opening doors so she started working her in agility and the behavior stopped. That is the last thing I need Juno to start doing!

Buster can open sliding glass doors, and he taught Olive how! I had to switch the door I use to let them out because if I happened to forget to lock it they would let themselves back in and leave the door open, in which case I would have a few flying creatures in my house. He also can open gates, which I found out when we went to Vegas and left him at the sitters. When we got back, the guy said "I didn't realize Buster could unlatch gates" and I said "neither did I!" Definately too smart for their own good.

Kilby can open nearly all doors (even ones that aren't sliding) and while Kona doesn't have the know-how, all she does is sit by the door crying until her big sister comes and opens it for her....so cute

Welcome to my world, Lola & Casper can open doors.
We've had to change the handles for knobs on some of our internal doors and have to keep the back door locked as they let them selves out into the garden as & when otherwise

They sure are too smart for their own good. My two can get the front storm door open but it takes a joint effort. Aniah jumps up and hits the handle and Cody wedges his nose in the crack and presto they are free. I swear I am suprised I don't have more grey hair.

Baxter has opened our front door twice- and it's a knob! I almost didn't believe it at first, because it seemed impossible- but it happened again. Now we always have to keep the door locked. He's only done it when we weren't inside, and he was trying to get out to be with us.. Once when we weren't home, and we came back to him waiting for us on the deck- good thing we have big gates! They can be scary smart sometimes!

Good grief! You better hide the car keys - who knows what he'll learn to do next

Buddy opens the internal doors as he pleases. He's learned to head butt softly the door just below the knob, pops them right open.
He hasn't tried to open the slider yet, he pops the screens out of the window to get out in the back yard.
