I love Summer!!!

Hey All! It's Boxer Max. I have not been on-line because Mommy has been working at the local pet shelter in her free time. However, my taste for shoes has not gone at all, and I am eating them every chance I get. I love summer becasue of all the new shoes. My dog-sitter Kimmy is at the house right now and she wore a brand new pair of white leather nike walking sneakers. MMMmmm, I want to chew on them so bad!!!!!!!!! She is watching the neighbors Saint Bernards tomorrow, who love sneakers too. When we were at the dog park earlier today we saw them, and they licked and tasted her new sneakers hungrily. When we were playing, they told me that they couldn't wait to eat the sneakers right off her feet tomorrow. Well, if I am going to eat them, I better do it now. How can I trick her into letting me have them this afternoon?????

Harley suggests you run up really fast behind her and ram into the backs of her legs so that her legs buckle and she goes down! Then just steal the shoes right of her feet - Im sure you can get at least one to chew up before she even knows what happened!

Hi Max it is Aniah. I would just grab hold of those stringy things on top until she falls down. I have found that if you tug real hard they fall faster. Then once she is on the floor, give her some kisses and demand a rub or two to give her a false sense of security. Then bam jump down there and pull them off her feet real fast. If you get stopped make sure you hold your ears back and look up real sweet. This works everytime for me.

SuzyQ here - I wish I could help a fellow boxer with some advice about his shoe fetish, but I'm still working on my kleenex addiction - I'm now over two months sober without a kleenex fix, but I'm so afraid mom will leave her nightstand drawer open and then oh the agony - kleenex, right at eye level. You'd love it at my house mom and dad leave shoes everywhere.

Hi Max, Its Cain. I have a great idea....what you do is go around the house and pick up EVERYTHING that you're not 'supposed' to play with and RUN. When your sittter catches you, give it to her and grab something else. Keep doing this until she is so exhausted that she flops down on the couch and falls asleep (you may have to pretend to sleep for a while). When she is fully asleep, then verrrrry slowly creep up to her and take a shoe very carefully off her foot. If you do it right, you can chew for a good long while until she wakes up. The trick is tho if you see her starting to wake up then pretend to be asleep again or you will get caught in the act......good luck.
