Cosmo will back up, pause, back up, pause, and back up some more - as if he's compressing a giant spring with his butt. When given the signal (a "wolf" whistle), he will leap upon me and lavish me with affection. It's our daily routine when I get home from work.

Cool

As for my Dallas, well she is very jealous! Pouncing anything she thinks is a toy or me if I lay on the ground. Very sweet, loving, and those pouty eyes! When she gets into trouble I point a finger and scold her she walks in this little U walk and gripes right back at me. I have to keep from laughing at her. Her favorite thing in the world is to lay on the bed- she will pile up all of my pillows and the blanket and sleep on the very top! A crazy mess everyday, but I love her! She is the best baby girl in the world!

I think we can all see we all have special dogs.
mine do all of the above, the hugs, wich almost knock me over, the pitiful look when yelled at, not wanting to get up when its raining, hogging the bed, (and I have 4 of them doing that, not all at once though). my oldest girl just loves to catch anything that moves, and boy is she quick. so far she has racked up rabbits, roosters, snakes, possums, squirls, birds and close to the deer.
I just love the U-turn effect and the sitting on thier heads. my friend was puppy sitting once, and called me at work stating something was wrong with the puppy, she kept bending in half, thought she injured herself. LOL I finally told her its a boxer trait. they all do it. she felt like an idiot afterwards.
thank god, I have gotten them off the gas thing though, they use to clear the room.

OK, Chickie1, you mentioned you got your dogs off the gas thing. What is your secret?! Titus can clear a room and when we are all hunkered down watching a movie in the living room, that's when he's at his best!

One interesting thing that I've noticed about Beauty is she likes to be "groomed" every morning with my hair dryer. As soon as I start it up, she comes running into my room and leans next to me until I put the dryer on her and tell her how pretty she is. She loves it. Indy hates the hair dryer, of course - everything frightens him!!!!

Hello ,, just setting here thinking where do i begin
Lets make a list,,,

1. setting stareing at the skye for one reason waiting for anything to fall near her or fly by here,, for example we have cotton wood trees and when they bloom cotton falls softly to the ground ,, sole purpose of boxer is to catch each and every one before they hit the ground (look out) when this ouccurs ,, we then have a large black brindel who comes in with cotton in nose and eyes and filled up mouth she comes in poof cotton flys all over the house we wont metion that,, what happens at other end we will just say she produces her own cotton haa haa,
2. snow fall we live in idaho lots of snow,, boxers sole purpose is to catch every snowflake she does this by charging at them and jumping into air catching them,, this is normal for us but onlookers think shes nuts,, then she plays snowplow with her nose at full speed,, and yea she loves to lay on her back,,
we have a hard time walking her somtimes because if it moves she got to have it ,, leaves ,, sticks anything she has to (attack playfully), she is very well manered and loves all people,, they get wrong impresion sometimes cause shes always at full speed to greet them tail going 100mph,, we let her pick toy of the day she has basket and we tell her and she goes gets toy for the day,, she will do numerous tricks or obiedient for any kind of treats,, sometimes shes smarter then we are,, oh by the way this puppy who plays like she 3 months old is 5 years old going on 6 like most humans she will never grow up

We have a two year old Female Boxer called Molly. Her traits are:

Jumping up and down thumping with her two front paws when she is frustrated with something.

Sleeping anywhere and everywhere and snoring very loudly.

Hiding behind the sofa when she doesn't want to go outside and playing chase round the sofa.

Wiping her chops all over the nearest clean clothes after eating or drinking.

Farting and then looking at me like I had made a smell.

Makes you wonder why we love them so much.

All of the above, but particulary jumping like a frog and doing sad eyes And I just discover the gas thing...pouah! Ah, and I have to mention that she is very very frisky, I have to watch her because she likes to sleep the nearest possible of the electrical heater or near the oven when something is cooking...

Cool

Like everyone else, I think everydog is almost completely alike. It's almost eerie. A few things Madison does is try to stand on me when I'm at my desk working, and is not afraid of anything, excpet for the pots and pans when I'm doing the dishes. she barks and pounces, until I lay the pot on the counter. One other thing is sticking her head out the car window, and having her lips and eye sockets fill up with air. if anyone hasn't seen this yet, you should. She also likes to stare at herself in the mirror. I call the mad run neurotic, she sits on her haunches and tears around in a circle with a crazy look on her face. Mouth wide open, huge eyes, and her tongue hanging out. Too bad she isn't all that tired afterwards.
