What's the best interactive treat toy?
I am on the search for new treat dispensing interactive toys for Duke and Rudy. The one's I see look like my two would destroy in minutes. We have all the Kongs - but they really don't seem to like them. Their favorite is by dogzilla (looks like a barbell) - but they seem a little bored by it.
Thanks!

I got Tyson a maze ball. It has a large opening on one side, smaller one on the other. Fill with some kibble, and they roll it around and the treats or kibble roll out. It has to go through a maze before it falls out, so it keeps him pretty busy. Lasts a good 1/2 hour to hour of him playing with it. It is also thick rubber like a kong, so he hasn't destroyed it yet. Just lost it though and I can't find where he put it.

I swear by the Buster Cube and the Tug-A-Jug. We give Bella the Buster Cube whenever we put her in her crate. I can hear her banging it around clear out in the garage but the treats keep her interested long after it is empty!

I'm not sure what it's called, but Rolen has an orange ball that is somewhat like what kathysboxer described, but only has one opening where treats fall out. It has dimples all around it. I put kibble in it and Rolen will roll it around for a long time until every kibble is out. It's pretty durable (at least he hasn't destroyed it yet! ) He usually only gets it when we are going to be gone for a while. Usually when we get back, all the kibble is gone!

I got one that is shaped like a UFO, purple, and you unscrew the two halves and put in the treats and screw it back up. There are several holes that the treats come out. My pittie takes posession of it every time and lasts only 2-4 mins cause she's just a pig. But if the other two have a chance at it, it seems to take them longer to enjoy it. This one definitely worth it!
We also have a purple bottle with a plunger type thing in it that blocks the hole the treats come out unless they get it just a certain way, then they may get one or two. They get bored with this one cause the treats don't come quick enough to keep their interest. So this one wasn't worth the money.

Its called a Kibble Ball! Or at least our is anyway. The best toy ever, or until the kibble is gone or it gets stuck under something.

Great! Thanks for the suggestions. I have seen many of these but was unsure if they could stand the "Boxer" test. Glad to hear from you that they do.

I have a couple of the Canine Genius Leo toys for my dogs. They are shaped like bowling pins and you can fit lots of stuff in them. They also connect to each other for even more puzzle fun.

I have the Kong ball...well it is mostly round, but not really a "ball". There are grooves in it for the kong treats that are in the can, but I think that would be too messy. I stuff the hole with pieces of biscuits so when he rolls it around the treats fally out. And because it's rubber he can chew on it and we play with it when it's empty.

I swear by the Buster Cube too. It's great! Moto and Tara get it everytime we leave for work. I have had it since I had Markus. It must be at least 15 years old and still going strong.
