Riley caught me red handed!
Tonight I was doing the last bit of Christmas wrapping that I had to do which included Riley and Mason's toys. Mason was upstairs crashed on the couch so he had no clue what was going on. Riley on the other hand was in the same room as me (as he always is) snoozing on his bed. While wrapping one of his new plush toys I accidentally pushed on it a little to hard and it squeeked. Riley jumped out of bed and started sniffing all around to figure out what the noise was and he discovered the box of dog toys on my table. Once he found the toys he promptly sat down and just stared at me with those adorable puppy eyes hoping I'd give in and give him something. I was soooooooo close to giving in, but I stayed strong and fought the urge! Of course now I feel guilty, but at least it's only a few days away!

LOL! Cute story!!!
I already gave in to my 2 and gave them some early gifts. I just couldn't resist! I had a huge box of doggie toys to make our doggie gift bags for friends, and they just looked too pathetic looking at the box of 50+ toys to not get 1!!!

Ah....how cute! Good for you for not giving in. I couldn't do it...gave Buster a couple early presents. Of course...my skin kids want to know why Buster gets preferential treatment!

How cute, good for you mom staying so strong. My two are having a very slim x-mas this year, as are we all. DS pretty much is the only one I bought for. The pups are getting some gourmet homemade doggy treats my MIL got in San Francisco, and they are each getting one more squeeky.

hahaha, that is so funny. I did the same thing. I was trying to be sneaky with wrapping Cooper's stuff while he was snoozing and I squeaked it. He got up and came over to investigate while I was trying to tape it all up and act like nothing happened. He was giving me the dirtiest looks like "I know you have a squeaky somewhere, where are you hiding it??!!" LOL They are so silly...
