Kids are on a time out
So I am sitting here, enjoying a nice cup of hot coffee, reading some posts on Boxer World on my laptop. It's a nice Saturday morning, Dh is engrossed in some football movie on TV (whats new) When the crazy babies come ripping through the room chasing each other, Falko in the lead, Annabelle 2 inches behind. When the smart leader decided it was a good time to use the couch that I am sitting on to take a flying leap over, again with Annabelle in tow. The laptop goes one direction, the cup of coffee goes another direction (all over my face and arms) couch pillows fly, and I scream, mostly because I am worried about coffee being spilled on the computer, well and because it was a little hot too. DH jumps up, makes sure I'm ok, and yelled at the dogs for being so crazy and put them on a time out on opposite couches. I, in the meantime clean up, and grab the carpet shampooer and go to work. By the time I get done, I fine my babies cuddled up with DH on the couch discussing what "probation" means, becasue they are now on it. I am posting a pic of them and just how sorry they look. I just cant stay mad at them long.

I don't know who looks more contrite, Falko or Annabelle. They both look SO apologetic.

Re: Kids are on a time out
That pic was great! An occasional timeout is good for them anyways- puts them back in line when they're getting too rowdy.
(and our dogs always seem to get wild when we take a moment to relax- why is that???)
